Collection: Valjoux

Valjoux is a renowned Swiss manufacturer of mechanical watch movements, particularly known for its chronograph calibers, which have played a significant role in the history of watchmaking. Founded in 1901 in Les Bioux, a small village in the Vallée de Joux (from which it derives its name), the company initially operated under the name Reymond Frères SA before becoming Valjoux SA. It gained widespread recognition for producing reliable and versatile movements, such as the Valjoux 7750, an automatic chronograph caliber introduced in 1974 that remains one of the most widely used movements in the watch industry today. Valjoux movements have been featured in timepieces by prestigious brands like Omega, Longines, and even some modern luxury chronographs, earning a reputation for durability and precision. In 1944, Valjoux was acquired by Ebauches SA, which later became part of the Swatch Group, further cementing its legacy in Swiss horology.
